I found the RX100 M6 guide I mentioned in my prior post. It's "Photgrapher's Guide to the Sony DSC-RX100..." with a VII version being available, author Alexander S. White. It is available on Amazon. I just finished researching some topics in the guide and it was very infomative as I have found it in the past. Without this guide I would be totally lost when trying to use this very complex and complicated little camera. Everytime I open the Guide I learn something new and highly recommend it.

Not happy with results. In general, washed-out skies, colors just not true. For example, shots yesterday while kayaking under a blue sky turned out as shown. Aperture Mode F8, Auto WB, Auto ISO, Exposure 0.0. Contrasted with photos taken with the iPhone 12 Pro Max, which produced awesome color and clarity. This has been a problem I have had with this camera since purchasing it 6 months ago. To emphasize, the sky was, in reality, blue! Ideas??

Is this an unprocessed RAW file?

It cannot be an unprocessed raw file but it could be a JPG rendering with no corrections/adjustments. If the original is raw then the problem could be as simple as the "creative style" in Sony-speak. But it the original is a JPG the see the comments of others, above.

To clarify, many editors, when showing you what they say is the raw file will defer to the JPG settings found in EXIF. But for all practical purposes you can't actually see an unprocessed raw file. The closest would be either RawDigger or RPP on the Mac.

Just dial down the Exposure Compensation until you get it to look the way you want it in the EVF. That's what EC is there for.

This is the second of two that I noticed which suggest using EC to change the exposure to something better. While that will appear to work, it may not work best.

Depending on how the camera is set and how it is programmed, the EC may adjust the other half of exposure (aperture or shutter, depending) but it might adjust the ISO. Adjusting ISO, especially in a setting like the one the OP started the thread with, is the wrong tactic. See other threads for why. Base/native ISO is best when it can be used and with some few exceptions, all other settings (generally higher ISO) are wasting bits.

I haven't seen anyone offer the obvious suggestion of setting the camera for "Sunny 16" EV. Again, see other threads for why that is a good idea on an outdoor scene in good sunlight.

It b cannot be an unprocessed raw file /b but it... (show quote)

I falsely assumed that a photography website like UHH could display RAW files just like Bridge, Lightroom, etc.. Thanks for the clarification.
