I also hate the patterns that say "Now repeat for the right side reversing all shaping" because, for sure, I'm going to get one or more of those shapings wrong.
Yes me too and the saying okay some numbers won’t always match......okay then what do I do.... wing it which is what I did!

DH fixed it when he got home...he paid for next day delivery for new inner tubes and had them delivered to him at work. It's roughly 6½miles each way. I really dislike taking the train now, they are beginning to get too crowded for my liking.
What a lovely DH you have!!! Xxxx
Good morning all from a so far sunny Norfolk. Nothing planned for the day and all food ready so will see what comes along, if anything. Have a good and safe day. xx
Monday my heart doctor said my tests show everything is fine so I was relieved. Today I had an appointment with my family doctor. He has the results of the blood test I took and it shows hypothyroid. Also I poked my eye lid the other day and I see grey around the pupil. Doctor says I have an eye infection. Now I’m concerned both may be due to the radiation I had. I’m calling the oncologist and eye doctor tomorrow but am a wreck tonight.

I have never run into that in a pattern. What else is one to do but wing it? That is definitely not a well written pattern.

Morning. Hoping a wonderful surprise comes along and brightens your day.
Good morning from a slightly rainy Surrey. Lovely growing weather, my new plants are loving it. Things are definitely getting more normal as I'm on the school run today and then taking LM to dance.
Happy Wednesday everyone and stay safe xxx

Good news your heart is working fine. A medication can be given to bring thyroid numbers to normal for a underactive thyroid.
Take care dear, and try to not make yourself a wreck.

Happy wings Wednesday. Oops ate the wings off the chicken yesterday. Sounds like things are becoming more and more normal. Isn't it wonderful?

Have a good one everybody, the end of this nightmare is in sight!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Those first hugs are magical. When the greatgrands came at me it was a good thing I was sitting down.
Good morning from Port Hope Ontario Canada. It is 5:41 am EDT and 5'C (41'F) going up to 15'C (59'F) under sunny skies. The forecast for the next week is lovely and above normal temperatures.
Mum and Stuart went to the woods yesterday (in separate cars) to take pictures of rare green and white striped Trilliums. A couple other people were also taking pictures of them. There apparently was a Barred Owl further into the woods but Stuart wasn't interested. Mum may go by herself today to try to photograph that owl.
Yesterday was steady work setting up students. We are going to be close to our normal summer complement of students. Although they will be mostly in Works (outside), Long term care and Health departments. My employer was in the news AGAIN for a security breach. This is the 3rd time overall and the 2nd time this year. This time though the breach was caused by a 3rd party company that collects information about school children vaccinations. When this company came in I asked about the security of sending this information overseas for processing. The provincial security officer already criticized my employer for collecting too much information. 3 people involved with this project and this company were fired yesterday. We have 5 people on the security team. That's all they do all day. They have been concentrating on the internal employees, but have apparently put some mechanism in place so another leak can't happen.
Our new covid number is 2073 with 15 deaths. Only half the number of tests were done again so that number may be higher. The positivity rate is 8.5%. We have 2 new cases in this area. The positivity rate in this area is 1.8%
This province vaccinated over 200K people yesterday. We now have 40% of the adult population vaccinated with 1 shot. This province (and Saskatchewan and Alberta) will stop giving out the AstraZeneca vaccine as a first dose. Not because of anything wrong with the vaccine, but because it doesn't look like we will be able to get any more before the first cohort needs their second shot. So what we have, will be reserved for those people to get their 2nd shot, and all new first shots will be Pfizer or Moderna. Two areas an hour west of Toronto will be giving vaccinations to teens 12 and up, ahead of the rest of the province so they can send the kids back to school. The schools would only be open a few weeks before closing for the summer anyway. The rest of the province is committed to vaccinating the students over the summer so schools can open in the fall. The owner of my LYS will be getting her shot on the weekend at the Cobourg clinic.
I think I'm going to frog my bamboo project and start over again with a smaller needle. My gauge on that project is getting looser and looser because of the limp (but lovely and soft) yarn. I went down a needle size in my other project too because trying to hold the yarn tight to get gauge was hurting my hands. With the smaller needle getting gauge was easier.
