Since my Picasa email no longer works, how can I send pictures? I've tried placing them into folders and tried to email them with my Comcast account ((Mozilla Thunderbird) but each time it says that my images exceed the global size limit. Is there an easy way to email my pictures? Any help you can give would be most appreciated.

Most email providers limit the total email size, including attachments, to 20Meg. I believe Comcast is one.
I use Thunderbird (client) also, but Comcast is my email provider.
Depending on the image sizes, try sending only a couple, keeping under the 20Meg limit.
Otherwise use a file sharing site like drop box or one drive and send a link to the images.
By chance does Picasa shrink images when sending? My phone does if they are too large.

Either resize the image or if you want it full size than use some online storage that links to the email for the recipient to view.

Look here, lots of solutions to pick from: https://www.google.com/search?q=e-mail+large+imgaes&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS937US937&oq=e-mail+large+imgaes&aqs=chrome..69i57j0i13i30.6845j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

A lot of free editing software offers the ability to resize your photos to smaller files for emailing.

Ah, robertjerl posted as I was typing

Create a gmail account. The size limits are much larger than most providers. Also, instead of emailing the image, could you just email the link to the image? To do this you would need to store the image on a service with internet access, such as Flicker, Smugmug, Imgur or one of the many other services that host photos.

Gmail's limit is 25 mb, so is xfinity/comcast. As is Yahoo.

Cool, Comcast raised it. Albeit only by 5Mb, but it's higher.

Assuming the source I found (Google search) is accurate 😁

My experience was a few of years ago trying to send client's PDF files to accountants.
I had to break them up into multiple emails.
Then we started using a file transfer site. MUCH easier.

From the Comcast site: "The maximum size of an email cannot exceed 25 MB; this includes attachments, headers, text, formatting, etc."

If you must send big files, recommend WeTransfer.
