Not in the snow in Yellowstone... but still pretty good.
On the California Coast.
Good work, Chief! Are you on the move now?
Nice series! Thanks for sharing.
Wiley fellow but captured him quite nicely, Chief.

Thanks Mike. No, Monday morning we will be on the road again.
I'm giving my brother one of my old Nikons that's been gathering dust. I checked out the compact flash cards that the camera uses and just found a treasure trove of ten year old plus images that I had completely forgotten about. Some from Australia and New Zealand, others from California and who knows where else?
They are coming from an old 10.2 Meg camera, (Nikon D200) so a lot different from my 46 Meg D850 but still great photos as long as I don't enlarge/crop too much. I'm having a great time going through them!

Thanks Ken. I was hiding behind a tree and making squeeking noises to bring him in close. He could hear the shutter but was still thinking maybe there was a mouse or something to be had. When he got too close I stepped out so he could see me, he was surprised to say the least!

Thank you Sylvia. Yeah, a great looking coyote. Lots of times when I see them they are pretty scraggly looking.
Thank you. I wasn't trying to say anything, just liked what I saw and thought some other people might too!

These are some of the healthiest coyotes I would know of. They must have had a lot of mice and rabbits this winter to look that healthy. Great shots of wily coyotes.
