The problem with this is that even if you upload full size images after 6 months they’re deleted and you’re left with low res thumbnails. If you’re an Adobe subscriber you get up to 5 websites included in your subscription. I find it’s a good and easy option.

I found a great and easy way to put all my photos in one place is right here at UHH with "User Pages!"

If I ever wish to direct someone to see a number of my images, I can just link them to this one simple page:

https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/user-page?upnum=3025

You can put this link in your signature so it appears on all your posts as I have done.
You can easily add any image you have uploaded to UHH to your user page.
This allows you to create a portfolio from any images you have on UHH.

Here are full instructions how anyone can do this:

1. Go to "My Profile" top of the page
2. Under "Account Settings" you will see "My Pages"
3. Add a title for your page. eg My Photography, My Portfolio etc etc
4. To add an image, find one you have uploaded on the forum
5. Right click your image and select "Copy Image Location"
6. Right click an empty area on your user page and select "Paste"

You will have an address something like this:
https://static.uglyhedgehog.com/upload/2021/4/4/t1-687000-test.jpg

7. Now you just need to add a little extra text so the text displays as a photo and not a link as mine has above.

To the front of the address you pasted on your user page, add [img*] WITHOUT the asterisk.
I have to add the asterisk here in the examples or things won't display properly.
Just follow my steps but do not include any of the asterisks anywhere and it will all work.

At the end of the address you pasted you add [/img*]

In my example address above, the beginning will look like this:

[img*]https://stat.....

The end of the address will look like this:

....87000-test.jpg[/img*]

8. Save your user page.

You are done!

If you would like to add text to display as bold as I have done on my page, just add [b*] in front of the text and [/b*] at the end. Again, do not add the asterisk.

Add your page to your forum signature if you wish!

If you require any further help post here.

These user pages are really handy! We should be making use of them as you can add anything you like here and create interest for those who visit your pages.

If you are not concerned with keeping the rights to your photos then it doesn't matter but this paragraph is in the "Terms of Use" (https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/terms_of_use.jsp) :

" SUBMISSIONS

Visitor agrees as a condition of viewing, that any communication between Visitor and Website is deemed a submission. By making a submission, Visitor grants the administration and the owners of the Website a worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free, sub-licenseable and transferable license to use in any way, reproduce and distribute the submission and prepare derivative works of the submission without further permission. This includes commercial and non-commercial use of all submissions, including portions thereof, graphics contained thereon, or any of the content of the submission. Visitor agrees to only communicate that information to the Website, which it wishes to forever allow the Website to use in any manner as it sees fit. "Submissions" is also a provision of the Privacy Policy. "

For this reason I very seldom post my photos here on UHH.

"...Interesting but why is it hard for you to use Flikr?" Tjohn if you have a background in Web Coding the answer is the ease at which one can "Craft" their UHH User Page. Only a quick look at Flickr (btw it's Flickr not Flikr) will reveal that Flickr is maintained with Code Generators... thus a serious challenge to modify.

Here is the Web Code for your UHH post Tjohn...

<div class="smalltext" style="clear:both;">&nbsp;</div>

<div style="line-height:1.5em; margin-top:1%; overflow-wrap:break-word;">Interesting but why is it hard for you to use Flikr?</div>

<div class="postsigtext" style="margin-top:1em; margin-right:20%; border-top-style:solid; border-width:1px; border-color:#999999; overflow-wrap:break-word;">

<a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/138169059@N02/albums" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">https://www.flickr.com/photos/138169059@N02/albums</a>

</div>
<br>
</div>

Hope this helps Tjohn or is at least food for thought...

btw, thank you so much for your stellar efforts Mark, you are truly a gentleman and a scholar...
All the best on your epic journey Mark

Due to the above and as I was completely unaware, I have pulled my images from UHH.
I never directly upload to any site as this prevents policies as the above taking place.
Regardless, I'm not a supporter of such policies and won't submit images even for viewing on such sites.
I'll still happily take part in the forum.
This doesn't make a difference for those who wish to add images to their User Pages and I'll still happily help out.
I apologise my images no longer display for you.

You may need a certain amount of posts, not sure? An admin may be able to clarify.

Interesting; however, when I clicked on your link "https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/user-page?upnum=3025" I don't see any images, by you or by anyone else.
