I hadn't checked their policy yet because I never uploaded anything that made a difference there.
I've only now started uploading my own photography and was about to start checking policies.
I've pretty much decided I'm not going to upload anything anywhere.
I have few images that are safe to upload to most sites.
I don't upload for my benefit, not looking for, "Great image Mark!"
I only do it as I know people will ask to see my images.
The stuff I uploaded till now were just a few old personal pics.
I have little of those and anything else would be professional work.
Almost all, if not all, of that is under agreements.
I hadn't checked their policy yet because I never ... (show quote)

I will reiterate, for those that are Adobe subscribers, which many on here are, your subscription includes a website, actually I think you can have up to 5. There are several attractive options and they are easy to set up.

No, the hobby is fine.
Found a good forum out there, it's just too quiet.
UHH has lots of people who like to argue and stuff so this place is fun and lively.

It is fun!

Perhaps it is worth bringing up the terms and conditions as a topic to see what others think. Even though the website has enormous rights, is there any evidence it over uses those and makes money off other people's work?

I started a topic on this a couple of days ago:

"Posting photos on UHH - are you giving up your rights to them?" - https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-692109-1.html

There are some good comments there.

Over the past few days I've got a little advice.
I will use this site as an image host: https://imgbb.com/
After a great deal of thought, I decided I'm going to put together a portfolio/gallery type page.
Hopefully others will as well.

I’m still saying if you’re an Adobe subscriber you have a free, very professional looking website.

It may likely be a good option for those who are subscribed. I personally only need to have a few pics displayed here. No need for a professional website.

Many don't have Adobe subscription (eg. me) but probably good for those who do.
I can't see anything about usage of images in the very short terms provided on the imgbb.com site so who knows what rights they think they have.

They only have rights they outline.
