Another great set Joe. We loved Alberobello when we visited several years ago.

Thank you Mark, those trulli are truly an interesting concept and view - so much to see out there in this world and here we are sitting at home!

Today's first part of the calendar pictures will show us glimpses of Paris, Italy and Switzerland, with a bit more terrain given to Central America, and ends in Hong Kong with the start of our fall trip to Asia.

More pictures from the selection process for this calendar can be seen at my website under the chronological tab in the "2017 Trips - Interim Selection" album at www.weberwest.weebly.com

I would definitely agree with Longshadow on 4,5 but 10 is so nicely framed by the cloud formation!
Right place, right time Joe! Great series, again!

Thanks Rob - actually #10 is remarkable in another detail: that tall building is sometimes called "The Shaver", because its top sort of looks like a shaver head. Now the cloud formation sort of echoes that structure as well!

Oh, the places you have been, Joe. Just in the dreams of most of us. How wonderful for you—and now for us to see the world through your eyes.
I am fascinated by the Alborella (sp?) houses.
Your compositions are so professionally done. Very nice once again.

Thank you Ellen for continuing your "stroll" through the decade - It is such a beautiful world "out there" and we tried to take full advantage of the free time in retirement while we were and are still fit to do so - you never know how long this interim period lasts. I am very happy to hear that you liked these shots and yes, Alberobello's trulli houses were quite unique.

How true—both the beauty of our world and the lightning-fast way in which time passes. How fortunate those of us are who have had the opportunity to fulfill some of our wanderlust in our retirement years before it’s too late. It’s never enough, but it has been wonderful none-the-less!
