I hope you have a toaster oven or other appliance to use. I’ve discovered a new toy..the Perfect Cooker rice maker. Oatmeal yesterday and steamed eggs and fish later. Who knew it wasn’t just for rice? Perfect portions, low energy use, and doesn’t add heat to the kitchen.
https://images-eu.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/91HiXPjgBGS.pdfThat looks good, a bit like the famous Instant Pot!!! I have the hob and the grill of the old cooker and a microwave/convection oven too - oh, and a slow cooker!! As I said, we won't go hungry!!

In case no-one else asked - what are Ruben sandwiches.
Looks like a lot of corned beef and Swiss cheese plus a load of different condiments!! Too much for me!!!

Good morning from a dark and a bit damp morning in Seattle. Not much planned again today. Yesterday afternoon was dry and warm enough to meet up with a friend for and hour for a socially distanced visit. That was a nice surprise. Mr. Ric's birthday is today, so we will try to do something special for him. Maybe go to one of our favorite restaurants and get a take out meal. We'll see. I hope you all are having a good day/afternoon/evening. xxxooo
Wishing Mr Ric the best birthday he can have!!! xxxxx
Afternoon girls it's 3C and a sunny day and blue skies. I though I might have a pj day. The workman are still at Margaret's as I type and are mending 2 flat roofs. There's been 3 of them and the roofs are only 6ft square if that. It's the size of 2 small porches, well, one is a dorma window. I bet they have to come back tomorrow. I don't know, but there seems to be a lot of these unheard of builders and roofers. It's just good luck how you find them.
Karen shouted me in this morning for chocolate. She asked if I was having a pj day, and I was so I shoved a big coat over my winciette tartan Donald Duck pjs and off I went. I sat outside again. We had to laugh. I was sitting under a constant drip of melted ice and it kept catching me. I was glad I went, I always feel better when I come home, just for talking together. I get some stupid conversations talking o myself all day.
That's it for today. I wish I could have a bit of news I could build a drama with but nothing's happening here. I'm hoping I'm not asked to Stephens because I don't want to travel with snow and ice threatening. Luv yawl...
Dear June.....I'm not going to bite.....but once again I'm not a Geordie. I'm Dorset. It's like me calling you Irish xx

Good morning all from a grey and gloomy London but at least it's not raining! Like Jacky, it rained here all day yesterday, it was really miserable!
Sadly, no cooker for me today, they haven't a qualified gas fitter/driver available due to staff sickness and have re-booked me for next Friday! Hey ho, we won't starve!!!
My cousin posted this on Facebook, I thought it was hilarious - but probably only if you know how to play chess!!!
Have a good one, whatever you are doing and thank you all for being there for me to chat to, keeps me sane-ish!! xxxxxxxxx
Morning. Now you still have something to look forward to.
I get the chess move even though I have not played in many years. Did make me smile.
I agree this group of wonderful people helps keep me sane-ish.
Good morning all from a grey and gloomy London but... (

I keep myself Sane too....that's why I've lost the plot.

Our house is 2nd away from the walking path to our local park, so we have a number of people who walk through our court to get to the foot path. The other end of the park goes to the industrial park and McDonalds, or to the end of the subdivision and the school at the edge of the subdivision. So there is a lot of foot traffic around here too.
I just want to say......that when I went to Karen's window in my coat and pjs. We are not in a street.....so nobody to see me. Just the dog. And she doesn't care as long as she gets her treats. Bless her. I love her to bits and honestly she loves me too.
