My DD is against having the vaccine and I really don't understand why except that she won't have 'chemicals' put into her body. I don't know how she feels about the kids eventually getting them, dgs will do whatever she says but I think she'll have her work cut out with dgd!!! xxxx

I hope your DD stays healthy, and far away from all of the people who refuse to follow Covid Rules! That goes the same with my DD, until I know that she has had the Vaccine! xoxoxo

Hello my Cyber Sisters, I have caught up with everyone, to this point, and I now need to go to bed, and try to get some sleep! I hope all of you have a wonderful day, and stay safe from any Rogue Viruses! xoxoxo

Good one, June! Sorry about no cooker yet and that you have to wait another week. xxxooo

I hope you have a toaster oven or other appliance to use. I’ve discovered a new toy..the Perfect Cooker rice maker. Oatmeal yesterday and steamed eggs and fish later. Who knew it wasn’t just for rice? Perfect portions, low energy use, and doesn’t add heat to the kitchen.

Good Afternoon, a brighter 🌤️ day. Electricians here and the generator is up and running now, just the flick of a switch and the push of a button.. bad weather, bring it on! No more emptying 2 fridges, loosing my freezer food or worrying about heating fish tanks.. lights and tv a bonus. Ruben sandwiches for dinner. xoxoxo

sunshine and blue skies here today, but very cold.

I need to rotate the stuff in the freezer. All the quick stuff at the top has been used already and the bigger, longer to cook, stuff has all gone to the bottom.
Have you been doing any pretty shawls lately?

I've been doing shawls and hats. Done with the hats for now, so working on stuff that have been sitting in my queue and some new projects that have come along. xxxooo

Our house is 2nd away from the walking path to our local park, so we have a number of people who walk through our court to get to the foot path. The other end of the park goes to the industrial park and McDonalds, or to the end of the subdivision and the school at the edge of the subdivision. So there is a lot of foot traffic around here too.

Where we are here in Shoreline, we are on a very busy street with lots of foot and car traffic. We back into the driveway to park our vehicles so we can just pull out and not worry about hitting either a pedestrian or a car. I'm getting much better at backing up! In Arizona, we're on a cul-de-sac, and it's a private airpark, so not much traffic to deal with at all. xxxooo

I would love to go to the Chinese all-you-can-eat. But buffet eating has always been somewhat risky despite the sneeze guards, and I wouldn't dare right now.

No, definitely no buffets these days. This Chinese restaurant is just that, not a buffet. They are really nice and do great food, so we're very lucky to have them nearby and open for business right now. xxxooo

Good morning all from a grey and gloomy London but at least it's not raining! Like Jacky, it rained here all day yesterday, it was really miserable!

Sadly, no cooker for me today, they haven't a qualified gas fitter/driver available due to staff sickness and have re-booked me for next Friday! Hey ho, we won't starve!!!

My cousin posted this on Facebook, I thought it was hilarious - but probably only if you know how to play chess!!!
Have a good one, whatever you are doing and thank you all for being there for me to chat to, keeps me sane-ish!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Good morning all from a grey and gloomy London but... (show quote)

Don't be silly; you're no saner than I am. I laughed out loud at the picture - that's how sane I am.

Hi Pam, over the last few days, our weather has gone from mild Summer weather, to almost a mild Winter weather, we are fast approaching Autumn, and I really don't feel like I have had very much Summer; especially over night! There has only been a few nights, that I was unable to get to sleep, because it was far too hot, and our evaporative cooler chose this Summer, to wheeze its last breath! 🙄🤨😮😒 xoxoxo

Cooler days for you will be welcome, but definitely too early in the season for the cold weather. xxxooo

That's great, Jeanette! I'll add it to my list of appliances to look into when we get back to Arizona. No room for them here and I've got enough to take back down there when we leave here. xxxooo

Good morning from a dark and a bit damp morning in Seattle. Not much planned again today. Yesterday afternoon was dry and warm enough to meet up with a friend for and hour for a socially distanced visit. That was a nice surprise. Mr. Ric's birthday is today, so we will try to do something special for him. Maybe go to one of our favorite restaurants and get a take out meal. We'll see. I hope you all are having a good day/afternoon/evening. xxxooo
