The first is a vertical pan of vertical paneling, the second is a long exposure while wiggling the camera (kinda reminds me of when I've had one too many)

p.6 I like the graded darker to lighter hue in #1 and #2 definitely looks like an impressionistic painting. Good job and thanks for playing along.

These are "interrupted" or "step" zooms. Long shutter speed, pull barrel in a bit and briefly stop, then again and stop - repeat till shutter closes. Check out the downloads and you'll see there is focus.

My last for now. I wanted to try using the ICM photos in a different way. So I took this shot, and then added a ghost entering the forest.

Yes, Judy! It would seem so easy, but it isn't always. Twirl around in your kitchen!

Had trouble doing the twirl...steading the camera and circling. I really like the center focused and the blurred surrounding the subject! Will continue to try...

Absolutely - some of u should not try looking up through a viewfinder while rotating a camera! Ha Ha I tried it this afternoon and am still standing. Then flew the flag from high in the tree.

Cool, you wild woman!

Your photos are great. I am new to this site, soooo... is it permissible to ask how you got those effects. Would love to try that. Love those pictures!

Pg 1 - Nicely explained, documented and shared, Pat! Thanks for the challenge!

This first set was of our Christmas tree in 2019 with different degrees of "zooming."

The next set I'll try to show other types of Intentional Camera Movements.

Hope you enjoy.
Tim
