I was out looking for some raptors, and about ready to head home since clouds had rolled in and I lost the good light. As I was about to turn around, I spotted an eagle in a tree. Waste not, want not, I stopped to take the shot, not figuring that I'd get much, both light and distance as issues. About the time my feet hit the pavement, there was an Eagle storm, Eagles flying in every direction, 8? 9? More? I couldn't tell you, but pretty amazing. All but the one in the tree had been roosting on the ground, so they just appeared from nowhere. I had the old ED 600 5.6 on the D7200, so clumsy and manual focus as well. A few stayed long enough for some shots, nothing to boast about, just proof of the story. I will try that spot again!

Eagle Nirvana? I have watched a group of over ten individuals at play- about 700+ yards out! Great and fortuitous captures! Thanx for sharing.
