Great pics. I have been there many a time. The mountain can often be mercurial and hide behind the clouds. We are lucky to live in this part of the world. I love the mountains.
Happy new year. 😊
Very nice set, especially catching those lenticular clouds. And in that last shot, one might think Mt. Ranier was beginning to erupt, the way the setting sun caught those clouds. Great stuff. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

The top of Mount Rainier stands at 14,410 feet above sea level. Mount Rainier, an icon in the Washington landscape, is the most glaciated peak in the contiguous U.S.A., It spawns five major rivers and has subalpine wildflower meadows ringing the icy volcano while ancient forest cloaks Mount Rainier’s lower slopes. Wildlife abounds in the park’s ecosystems. A lifetime of discovery awaits.
I went to the Visitor Center at Paradise and just up the hill a short distance was able to get these shots.
I used a Nikon D810 with a 24-140 f/4 lens. Most shots were f/8 or f/5.6 and the shutter speeds ranged from 125th of a second to 500th of a second.

A wonderful set of images. I often watch the Lenticular Cloud formations over Mt Rainier from the Kent Valley. Your images have inspired me to look for a good day in January to make a trip to Paradise and create my own set of images.
Thanks for sharing yours.
Out standing set of photos. Thanks for sharing.
