The top of Mount Rainier stands at 14,410 feet above sea level. Mount Rainier, an icon in the Washington landscape, is the most glaciated peak in the contiguous U.S.A., It spawns five major rivers and has subalpine wildflower meadows ringing the icy volcano while ancient forest cloaks Mount Rainier’s lower slopes. Wildlife abounds in the park’s ecosystems. A lifetime of discovery awaits.
I went to the Visitor Center at Paradise and just up the hill a short distance was able to get these shots.
I used a Nikon D810 with a 24-140 f/4 lens. Most shots were f/8 or f/5.6 and the shutter speeds ranged from 125th of a second to 500th of a second.

...some of these are mystical...!
You got some beauties there, nice work. Also looks like you caught some lenticular clouds.
Absolutely beautiful. Always did love the cloud formations around Mount Ranier. Mahalo for sharing and Hauoli Makahiki Hou. Stay safe.
Superb shots! I need to get up there sometime during the winter. Thanks for the inspiration.
Beautiful set, nice post work and I like the use of cropping to enhance the image view... Thank you for sharing!
