I have heard a lot lately about people getting permanently banned from chit-chat. It takes years of being a jerk and countless warnings and three day time outs to even come close to a permanent ban from the attic!

It very well could be that you've ticked somebody off and they report you. I feel that happened to me because many innocent posts of mine got moved to the Attic while others posts more egregious stayed there.

It gets one down after a few years of mindless arguing. I’ve noticed quite a few rational debaters have disappeared from the forum. Unfortunately the stayers are mostly the aggressors.

The "aggressors" actually get their kicks from doing this,
more so if they can keep someone on the fishing line for a while,
