It may be my last post on any Hogg section, and I don’t mind terribly, but I have just been deleted from the chit chat section. For ever having mentioned the word America or government or even the WORD “politics”, I was WARNED BY THAT SECTION’s administrator a number of times for it being determined that my posts were somehow. Political. I never besmirched either party or any candidates, and really didn’t getactually POLITICAL . The administrator of the chit chat section just deleted me from chit chat. ... dare I tell you what I replied to him/her? The. Mind police and any RAdical power monger can do what ever their little twinkle brains dictate. So this may be my swan- song, but I’m HAPPY TO SING IT! RJM

UHH is divided into sections that make it easy for anyone to avoid discussions they find objectionable. My sole interest is a few photography sections so I do not use chit-chat.

Having said that, political correctness (and differing views of what is or is not) has become ridiculous.

My v**e is leave chit-chat open to subject (even divide it into subcategories) but preserve the freedom of expression.

Get a new administrator for chit-chat.

And stop polluting my forum with politics outside of the Attic. You've had 4 warnings about it already. We have users who don't want to read politics. People like you ruin their forum experience.

I must chime in here. I am not sure what digit-up wrote but somehow someone did not like it and has the ability to do something about it.

Digit-up and I had a really nasty argument via PMs on the UHH. Since it was not on the open forum the Admin would do nothing about it so I removed my participation. On digit-up's behalf I must admit the entire thing was an overly sensitive misinterpretation on my part and over reactions on both. It was rather lame. I am sorry for that. But these days one must be careful about what others might read between your lines. Up until then I enjoyed digit-ups posts and photographs. Perhaps he has posted other things that might easily be misunderstood. People's use of language very especially in web writing. Years a ago there was a fellow wrote wrote about music and he seemed rude and scary, soon I actually met him at an even and he was delightful and my wife and I became friends with him and his wife. Yes, they both are a bit odd but fun. We all should not judge too fast. Politics surely does not belong on the UHH. Peace everyone.
