I am typing and - you know this - that ANYONE who claims to be Christian and support this man is wrong and is far from what the bible and Christ teaches.

Do not place your bias onto this.

And yes, I accuse these so-called christians to be part of the problem, regardless of what churches they are part of.

Christianity as a whole is compromised. Who wants to be part of any churches when you see the hypocrisy? Do you really wonder why folks are moving out in throve?

I am revolted against the apathy displayed by all churches leaders and their flocks who do not denounce what is going on. This does involves most religious leaders and most christians. Being silent is being an accomplice. One cannot sit on the fence.

It is easier to claim "God loves you" than to say: "I, you, we, bear responsibility for not speaking out."

If a horrible person protects the unborn and supports border security, but a perceived "less" horrible person wants to kill the unborn American citizens and forsake all laws on border security, for which "horrible person" do you vote?

"This man"?? Which one are you referring to? BOTH of them have flaws. The only perfect man to ever walk on Earth was JESUS.

God disagrees:

Job 1:8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

Aloha all, to be clear here, I voted for neither, as clearly it no longer matters. Thankfully I put my faith in Christ alone & heeded his warming to trust no man. To me that was and is the safest bet of these times, I trust no evangalists, I trust no church that is not speaking of the end times messages written for us, or prophesies that are unfolding daily and the great deceptions we were warned of.. For one thing there are 52 volcanos going off as of my last look into it four days ago.. Don't think I judge those who don't share my thoughts in this, I do not, I love all my brothers and sisters in the church (& outside), and recognize we all have the same information available to us. I just dig deep, I was born that way 💁 its about love, its about compassion, faith and courage. God Bless ❗

You are 'Spot on'. Just before going to the cross - Jesus gave us ONE command:-

John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

Jesus told us that this is the best possible way to be a 'witness;

John 34:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

David Du-Plessis said:
God created nations: They fight each other.
The Church created denominations: They fight each other.

Sad but true.

But the church did not create denominations, MAN did, to create a group of people that interpreted the bible to suit their own needs and wants.

There is only one true church, which is made up of all believers in Christ. That is Gods church!

The word "church" is used in more that one way. Most of the time referring to a specific groups of people.
In the book of Revelation, John writes to seven churches:

Rev 1: 11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia,

All of them together are also described as 'Church" (Singular) as in Ephesians 5:32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

To me, saying "the church did not create denominations, MAN did, to create a group of people that interpreted the bible to suit their own needs and wants." does not make sense. The individual churches that John was writing to WERE "specific groups of people"??

Denominations are like, penticost, baptist, church of God etc. Those were created by man. Any research will show this.

The letters to the seven churches was to warn them to repent. Why were they warned to repent? Because they were falling away from God.

Yes, today a church is accepted as a building, or a place for people to go worship. We call these places "church". Denominations are groups of people that have interpreted things to their understanding, to make their beliefs/interpretations seem right. So yes, we have many churches/buildings. But there is only one church. It is made up of believers that follow Christ/God. And they can meet anywhere, even in a house, to worship and pray to / praise God.

God has only one church and that is his followers. Today, it is those that believe Christ died to pay for our sins, so that we could have everlasting life, and follow Him. We can not all meet at one place and time here on earth, thus the smaller gatherings in places we call the "church". In the old testament days, it was those that listened to, believed in, and followed God.

RE: "today a church is accepted as a building". Is it? A building used by a church perhaps. The Greek for the word 'church' is 'ekklesia' meaning 'a religious congregation'. The early church met in homes. Why add a new definition?

RE: 'God has only one church '
You have already used it in the plural when you wrote "The letters to the seven churches was to warn them to repent "

Right through the New Testament the word 'church' is used over a hundred times referring to different groups of believers

EG:
Acts 14:23 And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.

Acts 15: 41 And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches.

Why all the emphasis on defining the word 'church' ?

Jesus gave us one command - just one - and that by keeping this command - this ONE command - others would KNOW that we are his disciples - or - as used for the first time in Antioch - Christians (Acts 11:26)

I am referring to the church we are in. Even as a child I felt something off in the st Therese we were dragged to. My church exists in my heart, the one Jesus has his arms wrapped around.
Hopefully everyone here knows denominations were created by man as a distraction. ((In my opinion. (for the sake of others who don't understand this yet.)) 💜
