I'm starting my new job today, a volunteer one. They've asked me to do the photography for the City Of Adelaide. The City Of Adelaide is a clipper ship that brought people and goods out to South Australia in the mid to late 1800s. The ship is the sister ship to the Cutty Sark, The Cutty Sark was built in 1869 and the City Of Adelaide in 1864. It was towed out, on the barge you can see it's sitting on, from Scotland several years ago. There isn't much restoration to be seen from the outside just now but a lot has been done inside.
So I should be able to post some interesting pics in the future...
I've seen the ship from the outside only so I'm looking forward to seeing the inside.
The aim is to keep a visual record of the restoration and other activities associated with the ship.
Should be a fun project..

Nice.

May I suggest choosing several locations and shooting from those from time to time, thus creating a time lapse of what had been done. Maybe some of which with enough head space for the future masts & sails.

That's great Ron! I would love to be involved in something like that. Are you going to be on her second Maiden Voyage? That would be fun and a truly great finale to the project.
Was she involved with the prisoner transport period?

Will definitely be looking for your posts on this project. Your titles need a code like: "City-of-A date"
