Don't know what car this is, but its in the parking lot of the building at which I worked today.
Here are some I took of a Type 35 at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion (normally referred to as "The Rolex") at Laguna Seca, August 20, 2016. These are SOOC JPEGs from my Canon SX40 HS.

I don't know either but it's got a great wax job on it !
Saw this on my walk today.
Great shots. The two red roadsters (one I don't recognize and the XK120) are my faves. Stay well and keep on posting.

I think the red roadsters are an Auburn Boat-tail speedster and a Jaguar XK-120 or 140.

It's 7 years older than me. A '41 Plymouth.

I cheated with those. They're 1:18th scale models. The Jag is an XK 140 (1954-1957) and the other is a '35 Auburn 851. I had over 300 of those and just recently moved into a tiny 2 bedroom condo and consequently had to get rid of most of them. It killed me.

You fooled me that they were models; great job with the photos. I can understand how you felt about having to get rid of most of them. I don't have a collection, however I recently saw a new release of the car that won the first road race I ever went to, October 1962 at Laguna Seca. The markings were all correct, except for the number (it ran 96 when I saw it), so I bought it. I've included a quick snap of it here. It's a 1:43 scale Lotus 19 driven by the great Dan Gurney. A week or so after it arrived, they announced the future release of a 1:18 scale version of it with the markings that it ran at Laguna Seca (and won earlier that year at the Daytona 3 hour race). I pre-ordered it. Shortly after that, they announced what I consider the most beautiful Formula 1 car ever built and the only American F1 car to ever win an F1 race driven by an American driver, the 1967 Spa winning Eagle driven by Dan Gurney in 1:18 scale. I pre-ordered it too. BTW, besides photography, my primary hobby is designing, building and flying radio control airplanes.
Ava's Papa, I miss my Miata. I bought a blue one the first year that Mazda came out with them. Superb handling and the quickest and smoothest manual shifter I have ever owned.

The young guy on the old British show Top Gear (can't remember his name) said the same thing about the Miata's shifter, so im willing to take it as truth.
