57 Chevy has always been one of my favorites. Never owned one but did have a 1960 with a 348ci engine and triple carbs.
Wayne Carini's shop is in Portland CT about 40 miles from me. I stop by every now and then to "window shop"
The only thing between me and some of his classics is money. :-)

Amen

It's been a long time since I've been to a car show and I NEED to SEE some CARS!!! Help me out here. Let's have a car show!! Get your favorite shots out and show them off !!

Very nice photos. Here's one I took in May 1966 in the parking area at Laguna Seca Raceway (scanned from a 35mm slide). It's one of 37 Ferrari GTO's built. The GTO is the most beautiful car ever made IMHO and also the most valuable. They cost $18,000 new in 1962. A used one was advertised for $3,500 in the late 1960's. One sold for $70 million (!) in 2018 to David Macneil, the founder of WeatherTech. The track is now known as WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca BTW.

Wow.

How times have changed... vis a vis the car parking facility.
Apart from Vietnam, great days.

Gorgeous coupe.

It was pretty horny.

In the warehouse there was an Aston Martin that looked even better,
but I could not drive it into position to be photographed as it had been sold.

We are now no longer talking about automobiles we've moved into the realm of Objects of Art.

I've got a 1:18 scale model of a red GTO. That's as close as I'll ever get. I remember seeing a Dino for $1200 back in the 80's. Who knew?

Many automobiles ARE Objects of Art. Old Bugattis, Talbots, Packards, Cadillacs and the list goes on.

Nice! A friend of mine had an orange one when we were in high school that had been used in his father's construction business.
