Hi UUHs,
l like to take my post processing to a notch up.
Some UHHs helped me with some Yellowstone photos about a month ago and mentioned usingTopaz.
I am going to buy it but encounter several choices:
1. Topaz DeNoise AI: $79.99 - sale $59.99
2. Topaz Mask AI: $99.99
3. Topaz Sharpen AI: $79.99
I just want to DeNoise some photos not as sharp (shot with ISO too high). Also some of the night shots.

They all have a lot of markets jargon, that really it is value as the opinion of those who use the software. Is true I have to have one for the night photos and one for the others?
Thank you

Are you shooting raw? If so what program do you use for raw processing? I ask because I find Lightroom and Photoshop to be all that is needed most of the time. Have you tried the denoise in whatever software you currently use?

Check out my post that was posted approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes before your post. Topaz AI Denoise - you be the judge.

If primarily for high ISO then Denoise is the best choice. while removing noise it it primary function it does q little sharpening but no where near what Sharpen will do. I have both Ai and Sharpen and hits all my happy buttons. While PS may be able to do some denoise as someone suggested, you best have grown up on PS. I prefer one stop editing with Topaz.

I bought DeNoise and Sharpen last December. I use DeNoise a lot and Sharpen very seldom. On some shots, it is remarkable the improvements it makes. Topaz is not a perfect company, releasing versions before all the bugs are out. Be prepared for that and you will be happy. It also takes a pretty strong computer or will be very slow. I would recommend you get DeNoise and hold off on others until you get further along on your Post Processing journey. You can get an additional 15% off any Topaz products using a code from current owners. So DeNoise would cost $51 bucks now with sale. Anyone can PM me for code or get it from someone else you know that owns Topaz. They do seem to put it on sale every 6-10 weeks . Good Luck!

Just remember that you are buying the program with one year free updates. After one year you need to purchase the license again to get updates.

Download 30 day trials of all of them and see what works best for you.

Hands down, Topaz Denoise AI is the BEST plug-in for Photoshop CC that I have ever used! That said, I do not like the fact that now in order to get the "latest" updates for Denoise AI from Topaz, , I would need to purchase a new license! I've been using the photographer's package from ADOBE since it's inception in 2014, with FREE updates for a monthly subscription of $9.99 which includes Photoshop CC and Lightroom.. Both with continuous updates at no charge whatsoever....AND..the subscription price has NOT changed $.01 since 2014!!.. I think TOPAZ can learn a lesson here as many will NOT opt for going for a renewed addition cost license!!

I would suggest the DeNoise Al. I do use this on most of my images. After I open the program, I use the Al Clear Tab instead of the DeNoise tab. I move the slider all the way for denoise and sharpening. Images come out great.

I have a discount code for all Topaz Products. PM me if interested.

I have owned the entire Topaz suite for many many years and all that time, Topaz were the only company in the entire market that always gave free updates every time they brought out improvements. All these years I could get the latest they offered and it did not cost me a penny more. All other software charged for the new versions each year. So, Topaz was always a great company to own software from.

Topaz don't need to learn any lessons from Adobe because they never charged a monthly ransom and still don't, unlike your Adobe Photoshop. You do not have to upgrade each year for the new Topaz in order to keep using it. You can keep using it for years to come and never pay another penny.

If you stop paying your Adobe Photoshop next month, they will shut you down and you won't be able to use your Photoshop any further, ever, unless you start paying your monthly ransom again. Therefore, you can not compare Topaz or On1 or any others to Adobe, because with the others, you buy it once and own it for ever. Then you can choose to update it if you feel you need to update. If you choose not to pay an update, you can keep using it for as long as you like and it will not cost you a penny more. That is the freedom of choice that I prefer because I do not always need every update that comes out. I don't want to be dictated to that I MUST pay the monthly fee or I get shut out, like Adobe does.

In my estimation, you are correct, paying $9.99/mo ads up to a lot of money. Those money bleeding ventures, like Pandora, Apple music and many others.
