I never really looked into it, but this is helpful: "Although it seems cottages have been around forever, they are a relatively recent occurrence dating back to around the 1700’s. Just and FYI - Our next challenge "Clouds" is being set up and hosted by a new challenge host - sakiston. It may be much later tonight or early tomorrow before it is up as I believe she is West Coast.
