Like you, I too love photographing old buildings, especially barns.

Just a month ago, the farm where my grandparents raised their 10 children, was sadly torn down. As a child I made many wonderful memories there. The farm was sold many years ago after my two bachelor uncles passed away. It was never taken care of after that and now the land will be used for growing crops.

What was left of the stalls, I can remember standing at the door and watching the cows come in one by one and head to their own stall. There was a pecking order and if one tried to come in ahead, it was stopped by one of the others.

This is an old house that still stands. Sort of a land mark. Likely the most photographed house in S/W Ontario. I printed this on canvas and it sold at an art show last year.
