The Second World War ended in 1945 so the 1918 flu had quite a delayed impact. Probably something to do with quantum mechanics.
More to do with an addled brain. IMO

Sorry. I should have worded this better. I was quoting someone else who said this recently.
I got it the first time. It seems that the bone spurs might have penetrated his head.
No it didn’t. The flu was an equal, opportunity killer. The war was ended because Germany had zero chance of winning after the US entered the war, especially after the African Queen destroyed the German gunboat, the Konigin Louise, after a heroic ride down the Ulanga River, rapids and all by Charlie Allnutt and Rose Sayer. (Sorry, I couldn’t resist including one of my favorite movies.)
The flu never entered into it. Also, it wasn’t the only disease killing soldiers back then. Dysentery, cholera, sepsis, took their toll as well.

Still, you can't deny the fact that the British did not occupy on US airport during the Revolutionary War.
Yep, it’s undeniable and also incomprehensible that anyone could make that statement☹️

As I recall, it was superior air power that won the Revolutionary War or maybe it was the Peloponnesian War, I get them mixed up.
LOL. Who's on first? What's on second?...........

The 1917 flu probably ended WWII.
“In 1917 ... the great pandemic certainly was a terrible thing where they lost anywhere from 50 to 100 million people,” the president noted about the 1918 flu pandemic. Probably ended the Second World War, all the soldiers were sick. That was a terrible situation.”
I think you have made a "little" error. WWII was just a few years AFTER 1917.

Jerry, it was the first world war and the Spanish flu started in 1918, but yes the pandemic probably brought around the end of the war.
That was not Jerry's quote . . . . he knows better.

It’s people like you (idiots) and comments like yours that are making things worse in our country.
Actually, its the worseness of things in our country that make people make such comments.

At least you’re aware when you mix them up😊

I'm afraid your "president" has a strange idea of "the Good, the Bad and the Ugly"
And your (preferred) candidate can't even get his "thinking" straight, eh ? Maybe because is in the middle of TOTAL COGNITIVE FAILURE.

I'm sure you mean WW 1.... WWII was ended in 1945.
