Your post is encouraging. And beautiful. I'm thinking of a trip to Eastern Washington. I'm thinking it's a good time to go while everyone else is staying at home! No people!

Thank you. My wife retired from the health department. Safety was our main concern. Be smart and stay safe and you will have a great trip. Eastern Washington is another great place to visit.

I'm waiting for the Or. coast to open up so i can make a roadtrip up the south coast.

The coast has opened up some but not yet totally up and running. I have spent a lot of time on the Oregon coast over the years. Never get tired of it.
FYI, my wife grew up in Sunnyvale, Ca. We visit your area often. Beautiful part of the country.

Thanks for sharing your road trip. Good job. Those are great photos. When we lived in Idaho we rode our motorcycles through that area of Oregon frequently, and Shanniko was always our ice cream stop, usually on our way to The Dalles. We also rode through the Painted Hills, but never stopped because it was always so hot. Thanks for the memories.

Edit: I forgot to mention that #’s 4 and 6 are my favorites.

Thank you.
Ice cream store is still there. :)

Excellent series of really nice photo, Plymouth. #4 is especially good. The composition and light are perfect for a stunning reflection. Well done!

The colors in the painted hills are more vibrant after a rain and with overcast sky.

I live in Oregon. I see enough rain. lol But I would like to see the difference the rain makes. Maybe one day.
