As an escapee of The City and of Jewish heritage I acn attest to the following. The jews of the City have a long history of liberalism in politics. The City is after all both a lrberal and a Jewish center. As such many do not favor Israeli political positions, much to my confusion. They are first liberals. And that takes precsidence over their politics. A friends wife (who is Jewish and very liberal) thinks that Obama walks on water and forgives his damaging positions on Israel. I have no understanding of this, as she is an otherwisse a very intelligent woman.I can unserstand anyone, even a jew, adoring Obama, but not his active suppirt of Israel's enemies
