Where is the annual panic about the annual influenza deaths?

I wasn't aware that there is an "annual panic about annual influenza deaths".
I get my flu v*****e; there is no C****-** v*****e available to me.

Indiana has already lost twice as many Hoosier in three months to Covod-19 as we lost in {six} months to flu this season.

What was total death toll to "President Obama's v***s"??

Nobody said the Left was perfect, nor did I say or imply all lefties have the same desire. Some have evil intent, and so do some Republicans. You know that.
You usually are better than to assign your meaning to others’ words without cause.

Yes of course I know that. But didn't you indicate Trump supporters as i***ts. I have supported Trump's policies from day one and will v**e for him in 2020. But that does not mean for a minute that I support everything the man does and says. Just as I hope you don't support everything that Schumer and Pelosi say such as giving 25 Million dollars to the Kennedy Center as part of a stimulus package for health care to Americans.

President Trump HAS done great things for America whether you want to admit that or not. I have done the list part too many times now for Liberals who have never once answered me back so I won't waste my time again doing it. Yes he is not perfect but at least he is not like every other typical President politician who will take years to kiss enough ass to get things done or debate endlessly on getting a job done. He is a pragmatic businessman who sees the need to take action and then does it. I would take him any day compared to the normal McConnell-Graham-Schumer-Pelosi year after year debating things such as i*****l i*********n that has been debated with not one decision made in 40 years. If nothing else then simply enforce existing law. And yet Liberals are against enforcing existing law. Strange, huh?

Be well,

Dennis

And that, my friend, is the problem. The normal annual flu still k**ls thousands of Americans every year but nobody even notices anymore.

Drug abuse in America k**led 65,000 Americans in 2018. Did you notice that? Probably not.

This is a “photography” forum. Stop all this finger pointing and trying to find someone to blame. Monday morning quarter backs, hindsight is usually 20/20 unless spewed by a biased bunch of intolerant i***ts.

I had hopes this ‘p******c’ would have Americans pulling together.......alas......

This “GREAT COUNTRY” has been punched in the gut before and with sacrifice and a united effort we came out victorious ..... key words sacrifice and united

It’s not liberal nonsense...but is being...let’s call it overemphasized...by liberals and their media friends for political purposes. I know all about the no v*****e argument...but when you get to actual deaths...although it is a lot it isn’t out of line with flu, car accidents, and a dozen other causes of death. We need to be cautious because of the no v*****e issue and try to keep the medical system from being overwhelmed...but where is the outrage over flu or heart disease or car deaths? Aren’t those people’s lives worth getting outraged over? Sure they are...but it is way more politically helpful to make this all the President’s fault. This is actually a serious question...why are c****a deaths any more tragic than other things that k**l family members and from causes that we gladly take risks for?

Drug abuse is avoidable; I have never done it - always avoided it, even when I worked every day.
I can avoid C****-** only by staying at home.

Why do conservatives never acknowledge their own "nonsense"? Oh, that's right, they are PERFECT.

Nah...there is lots of conservative nonsense as well. Neither side has a monopoly on stupidity, misrepresentation, or blaming the other side.

I am tired of having to respond to the stupidity of comparing flu to C***D. Of comparisons to the number of car deaths, of pool drownings. Tired of hearing republicans saying it is LIBERAL nonsense.
I am involved in both C***D v*****e, therapeutic (dropping v***l loads) testing reagents. I hear all these non-medical 'experts' spouting garbage upon a subject they hear on Fox news.
All I ask is that you actually read the literature.....read it. C****av***s is a zoonotic v***s that comes from 4 subgroups. The beta subgroup generally infect bats. It mutated, and now it can bind to the human angiotensin receptor, and it sees a whole human population that has NEVER seen this v***s and has zero immunity. Like dumping rabbits in Australia. This is somewhat akin to the Spanish flu in that it was so novel, there was little immunity unlike most flu's who's two main antigens H(emaglutinin) and N(euraminidase), were at least partially familiar to most humans.
Again please use your brain and educate yourself. If you cannot read then shut up as even the experts still do not completely understand this v***s. Or a president that says hydroxychloroquine is a magic drug. Now that it has been scientifically tested...guess what? It doesn't help AND it actually causes more deaths. Read the literature and NOT Fox news.
I am tired of having to respond to the stupidity o... (show quote)

If you want photography discussions you should stay out of the non-photography forums.

The last time I chimed in on one of these threads I made a fool of myself.

So this time I have no opinion.

Has the “regular” flu ever k**led this many people in such a short period of time? Comparing annual numbers to numbers from 2 months is not logical.

Perhaps not in 2 months, but despite v*****es the flu returns annually and exacts its huge death toll.

When you get your mail are you 100% positive it has not been touched by someone who carries the v***s germs on their fingers? How about when groceries or anything else has been delivered. Gas pump handles, anything at all you or yours might touch?

Vehicle accidents are avoidable too IF you spend 100% of your time in the house. Well unless a vehicle driven by a drunk driver crashes into your home. Sounds to me as if you will pretty much live forever except for heart attack, cancer, and so on.

Gosh darn I would h**e to live my life like that just to stay alive.
