Well done, I was there earlier this summer and took a lot pictures. It is a beautiful, beautiful site. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Cas, Yes, it is a beautiful site - would love to be there for the sunrise - maybe someday!

Maybe a real photographer leaves the dog at home...but a great human takes his or her best friend along. Great photos.

Please C & C. Taken this morning, with a Panasonic G10 (on its last legs) and a 14-140 lens.

This morning was very bright and windy, not ideal, but still a beautiful way to start the day! How I wish I could have gotten there several hours earlier! Normally I would have used my tripod, but since my puppy wanted to join me, the tripod got left in the car. I tried to compensate for handheld, excited dog and wind with higher shutter speeds. I guess a real photographer leaves the dog at home...

:)

Last time we were in Maine we ate lobster on the dock at Five Island. What a treat, I understand that the lobsters are so plentiful and cheap that we will be eating lobster everyday. When I was there in June we paid $3.00 a pound all prepared. I can't imagine anything less expensive. We live in North Carolina now and are looking for some fall weather.
Thanks to all who have given me info.
A.
