So where did you send them on their trip? Someplace warm I hope.
The trucks deliver to store and businesses first and homes last most of the time.

This week a package from Levitown (near Philadelphia) took 4 days, and one from B&H took 3. Normally they would take 1 day. Last nights package came after 9PM. On a normal day, delivery is mid afternoon. The results of everything cyber! Best of luck.

Amazon delivers to me when they said they would. Are you really so amazed that it takes longer days to deliver the vastly increased number of packages being shipped during the Christmas season?

The last couple of things I got from Amazon that they gave to UPS have been way late. As an example, according to the on-line tracking system, my package arrived at the local UPS depot at 6:30 AM on a Wednesdy, the day it was supposed to be delivered. That day and the next several days, it was listed as 'Out for delivery'. It finally arrived on Monday. I don't have much faith in UPS anymore.
if anyone is interested, the battery finally arrived today at 4:30. Two days later than initially promised. Funny, a package that was supposed to come tomorrow, from a seller on eBay, came today as well. That came via USPS.
My wife came up with a brilliant idea. We have a basket in our breezeway that is stocked with Lindt chocolates and a sign on the slider that says "Delivery People - Please Help Yourselves to a Chocolate From the Basket in the Breezeway". Our packages are now being left inside the breezeway at our back door on time.

I used to get my UPS deliveries in the morning, noon at the latest. Now, they're arriving between 7:00 - 9:00 PM. With the busy season, they've changed their routes - and drivers. I used to give a Christmas trip to my regular driver, but now I have several different drivers each week. I bet that cuts into their tips significantly.
If Amazon says I'll get a package on Monday, that really mean Tuesday, for all practical purposes.
What time do you get deliveries? Has there been a change?
I used to get my UPS deliveries in the morning, no... (

Sorry to dispute your contention, but in all the years I have been buying from Amazon, they have never missed their promised delivery date. One exception. This year in the week after Cyber Monday they and their shippers were so overwhelmed, the 2 day Prime delivery became 4 days. >Alan
My deliveries from UPS, FedEx, and USPS are on time all the time. Although, I must say that B&H change over to FedEx is about a day slower than with Brown, but B&H is up front about the delivery day. Just yesterday I received a delivery of 4 framed pictures from a young lad in a beat up sedan. On time with no damage.
UPS is back to morning deliveries here. Whoopee!
I am scheduled for another FedEx delivery today. Supposedly it's out for delivery. It's been on the truck since 4:40 am this morning. Here it is 8:05 PM and it's still not here...

And it wasn't delivered even though it was "Out for Delivery"
