I never used Photostick but I'd guess it runs well on Win7 and before, but not win8 and later. The reason is that Microsoft disabled autoruns on USB and CD devices. If you know where you saved your photos you could manually copy from to with File Explorer, or use robocopy - if you know your stuff.

They didn't send the tool. The guy who was, supposedly, helping me sent me to a website that did nothing so now after wasting well over 2 hours of my time they claim they are going to send me a new one. Quite frankly I'm not holding my breath but any company that won't talk to you, in my opinion, is not worth dealing with anyway.

Here's a new user tip: Look at the posting date of the original / first post that started the thread. No one appreciates havng old thread reopened multiple months / years after the final updates. We call these zombie threads, many times after the OP stopped participating on the site.
There are probably 50 new threads started in the main section daily. Those are the relevant threads to participate into.
