Very nice set. Love the balloon races out here too.

Arizona and N.M. seem to have many balloon events. That must be delightful to see and photograph.

Thanks for letting me know you enjoyed these AzShooter.

So glad you enjoyed your ride Vicki and got some great shots. I went on a balloon ride in Egypt, we set off at 4 in the morning to get pictures of the sunrise. We landed in a field where a lady was working

I had a chance to go on a balloon ride in Kenya years ago. As it turned out, those who went complained that the cloud covering kept them from seeing much. I'm glad I waited. We also left for our adventure around 4:00 just so we could be on time for the departure at 6:00.

Thanks for taking time for this series Val.

I like the photos of the power lines. I would have been watching those!

I was glad to see we were well above the power lines. No worries. Overall, it was a very relaxing ride.

Thanks for taking time to look and comment Steve.

My daughter gave me this gift several years ago, and it's well worth the time and expense. I found it quite nice to be in the air when the blower was not on, it was a quiet ride. It gives one a different perspective of both an open-air feeling (sort of like riding in a convertible but less wind and quieter) as well as some good camera shots. Thanks for the images.

Thanks for sharing your experience Wanda. It was certainly everything you mentioned - very peaceful.

Very nice and reminiscent of my balloon flight. Love the yellow color.

How fantastic...good for you!!

We see balloons quite often, and I always wondered what it would be like to take a ride. This "significant" birthday was a perfect excuse. Glad you enjoyed these Bob. Thanks for the visit and comments.

Lovely series Vicki...and I’m sure a lovely adventure as well

I was trying to come up with something different to do for my husband's birthday. We've done the surprise things enough in the past, and he really doesn't need "stuff." When you revisit good memories and pour through old photos, it's adventures like this that make you smile. I believe this will be something we both remember for the rest of our lives (I hope).

Thanks for the visit and comments Jan.

Vicky you did go up? I am afraid of heights but it looks so great from up there. Wonderful shots.

I'm not afraid of too many things, so the height didn't bother me. This is also very different climbing a wobbly ladder or standing on the edge of a cliff. We felt very safe. That said, I'd probably decline jumping out of a plane or doing a high dive.

Thanks for taking a look and commenting Mike. I'm glad you enjoyed the series.

Cool series Vicki. Did a ballon float in Arizona, great fun. Thanks for sharing the Birthday ride with us.

I believe Arizona offers more good ballooning days and lots of opportunities for adventure. We had to travel about 45 minutes from our meeting spot to get out of the fog belt for a good flight.

Thanks for coming along on the adventure marsdad.
