I believe we remember experiences more than the "things" we get. I almost wish we had taken the ride several years ago. That said, I recommend this adventure Merry. My husband loved it.

I agree about the power lines. There weren't many in the area where we flew/floated, and I was relieved to see them far below. This particular experience left from a field a little northwest of Winters and travelled almost due east for about an hour. The original plan had been to float over the Napa valley, but the cloud covering on Saturday made it necessary to change to Yolo County. The company we used seemed to have several options for the experience. I think you would enjoy this Mark. The champagne brunch at the end was a nice touch, too.

I was hoping to get some shots of the balloons filling while it was still dark, but we didn't get to the launch site early enough. The sun was barely up when we arrived. It's kind of difficult to find out where the launches are going to take place since they're so weather dependent.

Thank you for taking time to look and comment Flying Three. It was interesting to see how the balloons changed color as they inflated, going from kind of a puce green to yellow.
