Look, guys, there's no magic wand that we can wave to stop mass shootings.
However, there are incremental steps that we can take to at least move the numbers down.

For instance. No civilian ever needs a 30 or 100 round magazine. Not a h****r, not a target shooter.
Second, meaningful background checks that include mental health history.
Third, changing the 3-day rule that defaults in allowing the purchase of a firearm to a 30 day rule to give the government more time to make a decision with the default position being, they cannot buy a firearm.
Fourth, Rigorous enforcement of the federal law prohibiting straw purchases and handing out the maximum sentence of 10 years on each count for anyone violating that law.
There's probably a lot more that we can do but if we don't start somewhere we're not going to make any progress.
We reduced the number of traffic fatalities in incremental steps and we can do the same here.
Look, guys, there's no magic wand that we can wave... (show quote)

For what it's worth, I think your suggestions are not bad, though 30 days in the data-sharing age is pretty slow.

Now about your comment on my screwed up values.... why don't you point some of them out?

Well the one that I found particularly disturbing was your analogy that wars k**l more people than murderers. I don't think when Mama takes her kids to the mall she should be preparing herself to die.
That's just insane.
Then there's your "conclusion" that most murderers are Democrats.
Please show me actual statistics on that because I think you just made it up.

You find it disturbing that I said war k**ls more people than mass murderers? Do you think I am wrong? Actually, in the 20th Century, C*******m k**led more than all the wars put together.

And you don't believe me about mass shooters/k**lers being Democrats? Well, here's a partial list for you:

Nidal Hassan - Fort Hood shooter, registered Democrat

Aaron Alexis - Navy Yard shooter, Liberal

Seung Hui Cho - Virginia Tech shooter, sent h**e mail to Bush

Jared Loughner - Tucson shooter, l*****t, Marxist

Omar Mateen - Orlando nightclub shooter, registered Democrat

James Hodgekinson - Republican baseball shooter, Bernie Sanders supporter

Three guys imprisoned for trying to blow up a high suspension bridge with traffic on it - All members of Occupy Wall Street

And now the El Paso shooter and the Dayton shooter.

The Left loves to try and debunk the John Wilkes Booth categorization by pointing out that he was a member of the American Party (also known as the "Know Nothing" Party), which started in 1855 and was the main alternative to the Democrats in the late 1850's. They aligned with Democrat issues except that they were anti-Catholic and anti-immigration. They fully supported s***ery. Since the party was so short-lived (about five years) Wilkes was presumably a Democrat before 1855. It makes little difference because Booth's main reason for shooting Lincoln was to preserve S***ery, the main Democrat ideal.

Doesn’t matter what Wikipedia says, no such thing as gun violence.

Look it up. References all over the place. It's a valid term.

Those are individuals and do not support your hypothesis.
Please show me statistically significant data.

Booth may not have been a D ... he definitely was a Marxist.

But another way, he was ahead of the curve ... today he would have been a A****A regular.

This is getting silly now, so if you take all the guns off the democrats and k*****gs will go down drastically. Well it then follows logically if you then take the guns off the Republicans there would be no k*****gs at all. LMAO
