Cade’s Cove, Great Smoky Mountains at Gatlinburg !!

I received a great idea from a radio personality who travels a lot, if you have an iPhone download an app called "Roadside America." It will give you lists of attractions in your area when traveling. It provides information regarding admission price (if any), gives directions, has descriptions and history of many attractions and is free to download. Wife and I are going to use it on our trip out west in a few days.

I have lived in Chattanooga TN for over 40 years in the southeast corner on the Georgia border. The opportunity for great pictures in the mountains around here is wonderful. Consider the state parks ( Fall Creek Falls has one of the highest waterfalls in the Eastern US), the Ocoee river gorge has whitewater rapids ( 96 Olympics were there);the mountains of north Georgia and nearby Nantahala National Forest in North Carolina are also amazing. Chattanooga itself offers a lot as well. Don’t forget the lakes of the Tennessee River for pics as well. Enjoy!
