Fine composition, since slightly heavier on the left is the preferred placement for most good composition. This is especially for yours, where the greater negative space balances the shape while reinforcing that it is dynamic, something that would not happen if the shape were placed centrally. As for rotating it, you would have a major flaunting of good composition: moving the viewer's eye OFF your work (as the curve exits the bottom).
