I do hope that most people would find a better way of getting squirrels to stay out of the attic than shooting them. For shame!
This is true.

Nice photos, looks like you came close with your BB gun earlier with the split ear. Just as good, you wouldn’t have this great set if you were a better shot😊. I see someone else noticed the poor ear😊.
I did not do it. I am a much better shot than that! Maybe it was my wife. Just kidding. She would not even know which end of a gun to hold.

I am glad you didn't!
I was never really much into BB guns after shooting Mrs. Carter in the ass when she bent over to pick up her newspaper. Caught holy hell for that one! I was 11. I knew better.

Dang Tree Rats!! I've got a nice pecan tree in my front yard. I have never ONCE gotten a pecan from it. Those dang squirrels decimate those pecans about 2 weeks before they are ripe enough to pick. The ground under that tree is littered with half chewed pecans.

I hate those dang Tree Rats!!

1/4 inch hardware cloth over any hole a squirrel or rat can enter your house is a lot cheaper than a pest control company and works for as long as you own the house. Also, it doesn't risk poisoning the wild creatures that would scavenge your poisoned rodents.

After nailing on the hardware cloth (took a day or so), I still had to get rid of the rats still in my attic, I set a dozen rat "snap" traps. The beasts got very hungry so the traps worked great after a few days. BTW, peanut butter is a great bait.

Hope this works as good for you as it did for me.
