Great group of photos, they are cute and fun to watch. They can be destructive some times, but still great posers for photos.

We have a second home and there are a lot of squirrels around. Some red squirrels found a way into the attic and all you heard was them running around all the time. My husband bought a pellet rifle and started dropping them where they stopped in the yard. That and a $800.00 bill from a pest control company have solved our problem. The grey squirrels were no problem.

Great photos. We had squirrels in our attic, too. We disposed them by CO2 from the car exhaust and haven't had problems since, even though there are squirrels outside. They're fun to watch, not so fun running around overhead dropping hickory nuts.

Great shots, it must feel right at home! I have one that for the last month has been in the top of an apple tree daily and drives my dog crazy. I don't bother him, the apples get ripe and fall and the deer eat them so he gets first pick of the apples.

The worst part is if they start chewing on the electrical wires and cause a fire. The pest control lady told us they like the taste of what ever the wires are covered in.
My husband always has the pellet rifle at the ready.

Nice images. But I still consider them as tree rats.

All of this reminds me of my dad. He had so much trouble with these critters and could not keep up with shooting with his bb gun. He decided to trap them in a have-a-heart trap. He would take them a few mile away and let them go in the woods. He thought perhaps they may find their way back, so he would spray paint their tails with high gloss orange paint.

One night when he was at the VFW a conversation occurred about pest control with these critters. The gentleman sitting next to him asked if anyone knew of a new breed of squirrels with bright orange tails as he was seeing a lot of them around his property. My dad almost fell off the chair, of course he never told him!

True story!
