I did not have my BB gun...

Getting ready for our model airplane club auction yesterday I pulled two large R/C model wings down from the cellar ceiling only to discover the little bastards had chewed inside and gnawed on the servo wires. Squirrels chew into my models in the shed and fill them with nuts and pee and now chipmunks do the same in the cellar. Yeah, they're cute all right!
If those squirrels ever touch any of my planes like that, they would face the most hideous of deaths. Fortunately (or not), the only way my planes gets destroyed is when I do it.
Cute shots of a curious squirrel.
Nice shots tainkc - and the 3rd one is exceptional!

Cute critters, can be a real PIA though.
It's a shame you only had the camera, and not the gun.
Cute little buggers.... such little acrobats. Great pictures

Nice shots. I have learned to hate squirrels also, primarily because of the fire danger if they get into your attic and chew electrical wires (which has happened to me). They also apparently like to sharpen their teeth on aluminum. Not only did they chew through dozens of aluminum wire twist ties that are used to attach chain link fence to the top rail, but one actually chewed through the aluminum stranded neutral wire from our pole transformer to our house which must have been 3/4” thick. Recently two owls have taken up residence in our patch of woods, and the squirrel population has coincidentally dropped precipitously.

I put a jet spray nozzle on my hose and when the fluffy-tailed tree rats are on the Electric lines, I splash them then listen to their chatter in the neighbors trees. Great fun for all.
If squirrels are a problem in your neighborhood, get a hawk to nest in one of your trees. My neighborhood had a lot of squirrels until a hawk pair took up residence in a pine tree in the backyard. Squirrel population nosedived. But then we had to listen the screeching of the hawks all day long.
