Great set Fr Jack. This is my stomping ground. My office is in the John Hancock Tower building. The Landlord 'divided' the building in two for marketing purposes. 200 Clarendon St is the tower portion. The bottom 6 story 'podium' has been renamed 120 St James Ave with a separate entrance.
Really love the black and white. It has a '60's Architect's rendering look to it.

All well done.

Thanks for commenting. I couldn't figure out why I liked the b&w so much. You nailed it with the 60s architect rendering. Processed with Capture One 10. Will have to look up the changes. I like the effect.

Thanks. Boston is a tremendous walking city. I moved here for the first time in 1992 and learned the city by walking. And walking. And the T.

Boston has taken great advantage of being on the water. Hoping that some cousins will come to visit to go on one of the lighthouse tours. One goes north to Cape Ann while the other goes south to Cape Cop. There is also a high speed catamaran that goes to Provincetown. The return from Provincetown to Boston at sunset is glorious.

Thanks. Same thing happened when I first visited Boston in 1979. Never imagined I would live here a few decades later.

I enjoyed your boston tour, frijack...the building with the clouds reflection is awesome.
I visited boston a few years ago when my son lived there and had a wonderful time.

Thanks. The clouds, the sky, the building, everything cooperated. I should go to lunch downtown more often.

As a Boston native, these are very good shots, very well thought out and composed.

Thank you for what is a high compliment. I learned long ago that the only way I can do decent work is to shoot alone. Fortunately my buddy had some things to do after lunch so I was free and unhampered by companionship.

I visited Boston in late June, for the first time in 40 years and fell in love with the city. Perhaps my favorite large city in the US.

Thank you for the excellent images.

I have always thought the Hancock Building the most beautiful skyscraper in the US. It was designed by Henry Cobb of I.M. Pei’s firm in the 1970’s.

Thanks for looking and commenting. The Hancock is fascinating in that its appearance changes with the weather. I lived in Philly for seven years where the Society Hill Towers was designed by Pei.

Thanks for the memories......
I used to travel to Boston and on to Newport RI a lot back a few years and the images sure wowed me! Somewhere, I have some similar taken two decades ago. Yes, I know Copley Place wasn't there then.
