I think we all agree and that’s the program being submitted.....it’s the f*****t progressives who only want guns eliminated that are trying to restate the argument to one of forcing untrained, teachers to be armed!

Exactly!!! Liberals want all guns removed but then b***h and whine when a shooter comes into the gun free zone and k**ls students and staff. Some things are worth fighting for in this world. Our children are at the top of those things worth fighting for. Liberals live in a world of always searching for Utopia where nothing ever goes wrong and all is right with the world. Unfortunately their methods such as Gun Free Zones are the biggest mistake of all regarding the safety of our children. Sure, accidents happen, s**t happens. But I would much rather my grandchildren be k**led only AFTER a shooter has been engaged and an attempt to k**l him has taken place rather than to just be sitting ducks in their school because some dumb ass Liberal says, NO, to firearms in the school to protect the kids.

Dennis, I will respond to a few of your points.

Sarah Sanders being one of the best press secretaries? She lied... repeatedly. She even admitted that to Mueller. Trump also lied from Day1, and so did Sean Spicer. Does it matter that the crowd size was exaggerated? No, it's a trivial matter... but it was a lie. So are Trump's many many false statements (recent: the air today is NOT the cleanest it has ever been). It is not the substance of the lie, but the fact of lying itself that matters. You may not even agree that he has lied or made false claims nearly 11,000 times so far. What is your acceptable standard for lies... would you say he lied maybe 5000 times, or only 1000 times; will you give him 30,000 by the time he is done being president? For me and many who feel like I do, we may not be able to put a threshold on it, but nearly 11,000 is WAY over the limit for calling him an honest person.

You said in an earlier post that Trump has done nothing illegal. Is that the new behavioural standard for a president? I would think Americans want their children to have role models, and who better than the President of the United States. Would you really hold him up as an example of what your children should aspire to as a decent human being? It's OK to treat people badly as long as it is not illegal? Where are the moral and ethical standards that should be examples to your children. He does not posses those qualities. And yes, that includes the c***ting on the wife, fondling women, and using vulgar locker room talk. Just look at how he handled all of that -- first he justified it, and then denied that it ever happened. Wrong, wrong, wrong. Lots of people screw around, politicians included, but surely one would like a better role model as your top man. I would actually respect him more if he would own up to these behaviours and apologize; but backing down or admitting defeat (i.e., admitting he is not perfect) is beneath him. I think he truly believes that now that he is at the pinnacle of the world he must be just below God himself. And for me, comparisons such as Robert Byrd, Bill Clinton, Ted Kennedy, Hillary, etc all behaved badly too just don't cut it... no, I do not respect them for what they did. And if they did anything wrong/illegal they should be locked up no matter who they are.

You folks keep bringing up that Trump has achieved results. Good for him, and good for you. But there has to be another republican who can do the same, except do it with dignity, respect, diplomacy and class. If not, I guess you really have found the person just below God.
Dennis, I will respond to a few of your points. br... (show quote)

There you are again, pretending what you state is limited to those you elect to trash.

Every politician in every country lies, period. The fact that you prefer to concentrate on Trump and not, say, Trudeau or any other in the world means we know what you are and we are discussing price, yes?

As for Sanders, I find your comment misogynist in nature.....her predecessors under any admin has been caught with said unt***hs. The difference is they didn’t have to face a kangaroo court investigations under oath analyzing every word.

By the way, the item she “admitted” to lying about was limited to the comment on Comey having lost the minds and hearts of the rank and file agents....she was being asked this by one of Comey’s best friends and the guy who some say wanted the job! Also, on a comment like this there is no proof.

I will step and say that one of the FBI’s largest field offices is in Chicago, and over the years I have socially mingled with many of the higher-ups in it ..... it was clear that Comey was not well respected by them.

FBI numbers do show that a mass shooting in a gun free zone is 18 folks hurt.

A mass shooting where the folks can carry firearms the folks who get hurt drops to 2.

Costco’s out here used to have a no firearm signs at the front door. After 2 armed robberies at a Costco, they saw the wisdom of removing those signs.

They’ve had no more armed robberies.

Go figure.

To all my Republican defenders of Trump...

I will never convince you that he does not deserve to be president, and you will never convince me that he does. Let's drop it and pick it up at a later date. That might be impeachment (if sooner than the e******n), or after 2020 results are in.

Thanks for the engaging interaction. Bye.

“Deserves”

Interesting. Earning the appropriate number of e*******l college v**es rings up the winner as far as I know.

Popular v**e is the tyranny of the majority. Any student of t***h knows that one.

Buh bye

A great reply to John.

With the problems in Canada I find it interesting he complains about America's President. If I was a Canadian resident I would be interested in finding out why Trudeau gives Muslims over 1Billion dollars. For what? Is that annually? Is that a payoff for future protection as in, We will continue paying you if you promise, heh heh heh, not to cut our heads off later on. Seriously, why else would he be paying that kind of money. I totally object to paying every country money from American taxpayer dollars. We have been paying money to some countries for it seems since I was a kid. That is 73 years now. When will these countries learn to pay for themselves. Why is it America who has to support the world. Countries tell us we put our noses into their affairs. I tend to agree. But those same countries don't seem to mind our cash flowing their way. I would be all for stopping all payments to every country we now support.

I am not recommending an isolationist approach but do recommend stopping some of the things we have been doing for close to 100 years.

You are certainly welcome John. As a final parting gift let me remind you that a person does not deserve or not deserve the Presidency. Trump was elected the President fair and square. He IS the President of the United States whether you think he deserves it or not. Personally I do not think Justin Trudeau deserves to be the leader of Canada, just because his father was the leader of Canada. Is there nobody in Canada who can do a better job than a member of the Trudeau family? Just asking for a friend.

As for Trump not being liked by other world leaders, try considering that Trump is making other world leaders, including your world leader, pay what they owe to world organizations. For far too long America has been footing the bill for freeloader countries. Other past Presidents have brought up the subject to world leaders but then apparently laughed off the topic. It is Trump who sticks to his guns and works for America and Americans. You cannot say that about your world leader, Trudeau. Apparently he works for the Muslim Jihadists in Canada.

Nice talking to you John. Come back again to play another day.

Let’s start with he’s only been president for 28 months (not that long...it only seems longer!):

The economy:
Yes, after what was almost a complete meltdown of the U.S. financing system and the world economy our economy was steadily on a low upslope...and then it flattened out until Trump dropped taxes and, most importantly, started the arduous process of getting incredibly stupid and voluminous rules, etc., off the books. The economies around the world are certainly NOT improving...better check your data.

Tariffs, etc.:
Yes, Trump’s approach is bullish because that’s what the U.S. needs after 25 years of bending over for the rest of the world and letting them violate existing treaties, steal our IP and jobs, etc. It was finally go time!

Promises:
Actually if you do some research and find Trump’s list of campaign promises you will find he is doing an outstanding job at meeting them...that’s what really frustrates our D.C. swamp! The smallness of John McCain screwed up the chances of a new health system, and the wall IS going up! Is Mexico paying for it? Somewhat, they are....just look at the money the are spending as we speak to keep i*****l i*******ts from going through Mexico to get here. Also read the USMCA and compare it to NAFTA....you will say this doesn’t matter, but I don’t recall him ever saying Mexico would write a check.

Fixing Obama’s mistakes:
This would take too long to intelligently discuss, but as for your example.....yes, he IS taking flak from the left and the media for the same separation actions they hid u dear Obama. Our i*********n l*ws are crap, everyone knows they are crap, but our Democrat party AND the never-trumpets will not do anything to fix them while he is president.

Rules & regs:
Sorry, son.....the U.S. is the WORLDS largest reforester AND the world’s LEADER in reducing CO2 emissions (see chart, below), so the U.S. is setting an example and leading the world in this effort, we just didn’t join loser efforts like Kyoto and the Paris Accord, both of which were fun for virtue signaling but are useless in actually getting results.

There’s that word again.....results!
Let’s start with he’s only been president for 28 m... (show quote)

You really don't get it, do you? You can crap all over me, my leader Trudeau, or my country Canada all you want. That is NOT a defence of the political pickle that you and your spineless castrated republican reps are in. Your political system is broken right now and Trump does not want to fix it; he just wants to get re-elected so that he can thumb his nose at everyone again and show that he is a winner (wiener, more likely).

I will say it yet again... I like America, I like most Americans, I like you being Number One in the world. And you can be all that and so much more... but not under Trump. He had 2 years to show what he could do when he had control of the House, the Senate and the White House, but he did squat to unite the country (remember, he promised to be a president to all citizens). Now he has to contend with a democratic-controlled house and he still can't unite the country. His campaign rhetoric looks like it will be a replay of 2016, and there can only be 2 outcomes if he wins re-e******n: total republican control of the government, or a split government. History has shown that he will not unite the country under either of these schemes. Logic says... get someone else! I don't care if a republican or a democrat gets in... just get someone else!!!

Regarding your last quip at me, at least I address the issue... unlike you who, like your leader, can only use name calling as a response when you know you have been licked.

PLEASE DEFEND YOUR PRESIDENT'S BEHAVIOUR DIRECTLY, not by d**gging out what he has accomplished; ANY REPUBLICAN can accomplish the same thing... but with dignity and style deserving of the Office of the President. CONVINCE ME that lying, c***ting, demeaning, name-calling are desirable traits for the leader of the free world.
