Vicki, I love the great shots of both the pretty creek and Lexi. We have friends with Corgis, but they all moved to FL a few years ago. Rarely get to see them anymore...and they don't do photos!

Lexi, our 4 yr. old Corgi, enjoyed wading today and seemed to spend as much time in the creek as on the trail. Although she seemed to "photo bomb" the shots, I felt she added interest to the final photos and decided I was glad she got in the way. The first three shots are versions of the same shot, cropped for different compositions.

BTW She wasn't allowed in the house the rest of the afternoon until she was finally dry!

I like the shots with lexi in them...it's nice that you can take her out with you. does she stay
with you or do you put her on a leash?

Fun shots, Vicki. I've been streaming "The Crown" lately and Corgis were shown many times during the Queen's everyday life. She really has a great affection for the breed. Looks like she had 4 or 5 at the time. The time period was the late 50's and early 60's so far.
Years ago, my next door neighbor had a Corgi. She was a fine dog and she would always greet me if I happened to be outside at the time. Loved petting her and telling her what a "good girl" she was.

She must have stayed outside for quite a while; she looks like she has a very deep pelt. And the smell of wet dog can get stifling after a while.
