Great! There are only about five original sections of UHH; the rest have been created over the years (since 2011) and are moderated by volunteers. As you probably noted, in order to see anything else via new topics in the digest or in "newest topics" list at top of page, you must be subscribed to the specialty sections. The vast majority of UHH users never venture outside of main discussion, chit-chat or Gallery
Great! There are only about five original sections... (show quote)

I have just discovered this area and have subscribed to almost all of them. I can't get enough! I did notice many are older...is it ok to add to the older ones? Still much to learn about the forum.

Great topic Linda! I have not worked with invert before. Here a couple I put together with the original. I did find that controlling the color is a little more difficult though.

I kept it simple and just inverted the original then added the texture layer and blended. I did add more pelicans to the second one. This was a lot of fun.

Certainly! (well, maybe stick within three months of "old" )

On the PP Forum home page here are three stickied documents: first is the welcome/guidelines doc, and second is my notice of taking over as moderator. In the second you will find additional conversation within the thread that might be of interest.

Whether browsing recent or past pages in PP Forum, you will find challenges and share topics (anyone can host!), tutorials, requests for feedback, software questions (how do I...), software tips, and simply sharing photos that demonstrate creativity and offer inspiration.

Looking forward to your daily visits

I figured this might appeal to your sense of adventure, Keni

Both are super-cool. Thanks so much for joining the thread!

Your artistic eye is spot on, Keni. This feels like it's from a dream. an apparition. Highly engaging!

Thank ya ma'am! I shot everything in that image including the man and woman. Actually they are figures from the 12 days of Christmas exhibit at the arboretum. I knew I would find a use for them.

One I did this afternoon with the help of my four year old grandson, who I took to the science museum to see the fish. He loved this odd pink fish in the salt water tank and wanted a picture of it. He enjoys watching me work on pictures and telling me to do this, add that, change color, etc, to see what comes out, so today we played with the Invert thing, changing the fish, some textures, and some overlays. This is what we came up with.

I very much appreciate your sharing the results of your collaboration with your grandson, Minnie! How special that you are there to nurture his artistry.
