um... No, I think I know more about what Madison meant than YOU! To suggest that you are Madison, does make you look a little delusional.

I did. I, in fact, highlighted in bold in my post.

You've already quoted the completely wrong passage, and misinterpreted it. Doubling down on your mistakes is not helping your cause.

Actually, that’s simply not true.

You are either:

- Too uneducated on the topic to realize your quote proved me correct and you wrong.

- Too dishonest and stubborn to face the reality.

- A mixture.

But your own posts prove you wrong.

The Mighty Curran has, once again, struck out against the high heat of t***h.

Deal with it.

Complete nonsense. It seems you don't quite understand the difference between democracies/republics and monarchy. Under a monarchy, the government is separate from the people. In a democracy, the government IS the people. BOTH houses of Congress are there to represent the interests of the people.

Like I said, the 14th ushered in the end of federalism, and was the beginning of the end of the 10th amendment.

No, what i am saying that large populations in one our two areas do not represent the whole of the American population. They do not live in the rural areas, they have different goals and different needs, one of those needs is to have a voice in their govt, a voice that will not be heard in a pure democracy. Ask me about not having a voice in the Democratic state of Ca.

James just thinks that the so called Fly-Over, the heart and soul of this country, should simply be ruled by the coasts and their urban jungles.

um... Let us recap...

When challenged to find some historical support for your theory, you found the correct Federalist Paper (Good for you!), and then proceeded to skip over the paragraph that dealt explicitly with the issue (Se******n of Senators by state legis.) and instead quoted a paragraph which dealt with a completely different issue (2 Senators per state), including highlighting complete irrelevant line that somehow "prove you point".

The only thing you've demonstrated, in a rather objective way, is that you have no understanding whatsoever of Madison words. You've proven yoursewlf to be a fool. I suggest you take your own advise, and Read A Book

And what I am saying is that tiny populations spread out over a vast area represent the whole of the american population even less. They do not live in the cities (like most people do) they have different goals and different needs. I'm perfectly fine with people from rural areas having a voice. The problem is when their voice becomes louder than the majority in cities.

What I am saying is that you are, either through ignorance or deceit, misrepresenting what Madison said because your widdle fwagile ego can deal with THE MIGHTY CURRAN striking out.

Grow up.

I don’t think you know much about anything.

I’m surprised you can breath without someone going “IN ... OUT ... IN ... OUT ...” to help you.

The E*******l college and the representation of the states was a compromise that were it not reached the constitution would not have been agreed to. The same argument was made back then that you make today and the same rationale exists today for the e*******l college as existed back then. Sorry James, the e*******l college is here to stay, get over it. In fact if the e*******l college were to go away the country would fracture in an irreparable manner.
