I have to give the dead tree a pass this time in favor of the live one. The fourth time I opened #2 I finally saw the road. I really like roads like that and I think my old truck does too.

I am partial to photo number 3. It appears that you Fuji XT2 is working for you very well. I also shoot with a XT2. The last time I was a Moab I shot with my Nikon FF. It was my hiking experience at Moab that helped me realize that the Nikon FF with four lenses was too heavy for me. Sold my Nikon kit and moved to Fuji and never looked back.

Excellent compositions. If this is what I have to look forward to with my Generic camera and genetic 50mm lens, I'm all for it.

The plan was to shoot details. Fuji X-T2 fitted with a 50mm collapsible Leitz Summitar (with a short LTM extension tube on hand, just in case...). I looked and walked and looked some more, but no details presented themselves. Unless --rationalizing, during and after this afternoon's fact-- I claim these are just details of a larger world.

Just details of a much, much larger world.

Great shots, all three. My preferred photo is no. 2, but not by much...

Very Nice! Your images are so rich in color, I wish you would post more about how you process them.

Cany, I am always jealous of your apparent immediate access to some of the absolute best photographic sites in our country. I get to visit them occasionally but never frequently enough. On the other hand, I guess I need to take better advantage of the opportunities I have here in Southern California. Your constant search for opportunities certainly inspires me to look around where I live more carefully.
