The plan was to shoot details. Fuji X-T2 fitted with a 50mm collapsible Leitz Summitar (with a short LTM extension tube on hand, just in case...). I looked and walked and looked some more, but no details presented themselves. Unless --rationalizing, during and after this afternoon's fact-- I claim these are just details of a larger world.

Just details of a much, much larger world.

Very nice. Not sure if you think that way Cany but I bet number 3 would be outstanding in mono. Just thinking outloud.

There are very few of your images that I would not want hanging on my wall. This series is just another example of your skill and artistry. Thanks for sharing your images with the rest of us. However, I would like to know how you manage to find the time to be so productive photographically. I'm retired but there is no way I can be as productive as you are. I'm envious, to say the least.

Find the time to be so productive? Hah! Its hard for me to imagine how people manage not to find the time to do what they like doing. Different priorities and different responsibilities, I suppose. Whatever. In my case, though, it helps that many of the places that interest me are literally a matter of minutes from home. And getting out and moving around on a daily basis is good for ya.

Jim, I like the idea you had and in fact I do similar trips and walkarounds with only one prime lens. A zoom lens would be cheating and I usually do this type of activity with a short Macro lens. These photos do a great job of showing off this type of activity.

Very, very nice. If I had to choose, Iā€™d go with number two.

That Summitar is sharp as a tack and you certainly made great use of it in your photographs. Well done. I like all of them but the last one is special.
