I got peace and quiet. Our single son worked on Christmas and day before so we had dinner and exchanged presents on Sunday instead. The others are forbidden to travel here since the New Years Day rollover I had coming home from my daughter's place - it is not worth the risk of being in one of Michigan's winter pileups. Driving local is bad enough.

I got a week off to celebrate with the kids (who now have lives of thier own), and both our large families. Games, food, fun and health (the best gift of all beside the peace of Christ)

To be honest our family have cut back on gift giving in recent years.
Recently for my birthday my 11 year old grandaughter gave me a light jacket cool olive
and sharp looking. It take it everywhere and brag about my granddaughters taste.
My oldest son gave me Apple Air Pods wireless air buds. Amazing sound quality.
Most times a card is it. For my five grandchildren small amounts of money
or a gift card.

Thanks to Hedgehog, Santa brought me an Affinity Software program, an Expo Disc 2.0 and a Breakthrough Filter Holder plus Magnetic CPL (due around Jan 15). On his own, he brought me a Sigma Dp2x HC-11 Hard Case, C-11 Soft Case and View Finder VF-21, basically finishing up my Sigma Dp1x and 2x set. Somehow a Godzilla Destroyah got mixed up in there too. He is feeling so bad, I have him looking for the best travel small tripod now. Merry Christmas to all and to all good “shooting”.
