Christmas 2018 is almost history. What did Santa bring down your chimney?

I'll start. Opened first box and low and behold a Canon 1DX Mark ll and an EOS 24-70/2.8 ll. I was sooooo excited I didn't bother to open the others. Rushed outside to take a few shots and discovered that my photos are still crappy. But now I look like a pro.

From China I received a White Flash Diffuser Dome FOR CANON SPEEDLITE 430EX II; now my phoroa will have a soft look as the shadows are overpowered!!

I got a Canon 77d and a spare battery. Plus shirts, pants, books et al. I knew I was getting the camera because I bought it a month ago for $550 and Canon battery for $38. I am a careful shopper. But I had to force myself from playing with it until Christmas.

I got Disney gift cards, so I can continue with my second childhood. I also got a tiny, powerful flashlight so I can have in my camera pack for "long exposure" nights. Got a newer, Lowepro camera backpack for my everyday use. And I'm upright too!

Hey ballsafire (interesting screen name, BTW). I got a nice fat pouch of a green, hemp-like substance from Colorado. My images haven't improved, but now I don't give a crap!

Managed to buy myself a used Nikon 80-200mm f/2.8 (two-ring version) off eBay for a good price. Received it last Sunday and it looks brand new! Would have liked to have purchased a 70-200mm f/2.8, but that one is a bit out of my budget range right now. Now I'm anxiously awaiting the grandson's next hockey game.

4 flash drives, 3 RC cars, 2 SD cards, and a 4 terabyte hard drive... oh, wait! That's what I GAVE to family members, I got a broken set of bluetooth headphones (fresh out of the box, only one side worked!) True story, but Christmas was a wonderful celebration, morning after? tired but satisfied; the family is all friendly, happy, healthy, and safe, for what more could I ask?
