Ram, I gave up on drop box. I used to use it but about 5 years ago I got a new computer and couldn’t make it work since.
But one of my Models turned me onto WeTransfer, been using that. It’s REALLY easy.
You don’t even need to sign up to tsend up to 2 gb of pics. Check it out!!! Good luck.

I used Amazon Prime to share specific folders or even images.

Always works, and you get so many other benefits from an Amazon Prime subscription.

Had no success with Google drive. It only let me add one photo at a time and no one else could open it.

You may not be interested in giving Dropbox another try, but not being able to make it work just doesn’t seem right. What went wrong. I use my account on three different computers, both Windows and Apple OS. Has always worked fine. I’m sure there are folks here who can help if you want to persue it. Dropbox has many useful features for the photographer.

Me too, I use them regularly with great success! The receiver gets 7 days to download the files.

Seems to me that WeTransfer is a lot better and easier than using DropBox. If you have the email address to where you want to send your photos that's it, short and sweet. Happy Holidays to all and a Merry Christmas too. Seems faster too....

Just tried "We Transfer" and it works fine. Dropbox has never worked for me and google drive used to, but does not anymore. Can you access your contact list with we transfer??

No, unfortunately you can't. Have to manually enter email addresses, the site doesn't remember or access anything on your computer.

I typically just highlight the entire directory I want to upload, and it goes from there. After they’re uploaded, you have the option to share. You just add the email address of the person(s) you’d like to share with, execute, and Google Drive will send those people email invitations with a link and login to the appropriate Google Drive folder to view the images.
