Unfortunately, this is the progressive socialism being taught in the majority of our schools, where personal opinion and bias's are becoming the norm.

My wife is a retired school teacher from NJ, and you'd be shocked on the level of how incompetence many of the newer teachers are, and the Board members who come out with ridiculous curriculum.

What a shape the direction our country has taken.

Please define "progressive socialism". It is a new buzz-word to many.

Wisdom and intelligence are two different things. Intelligence is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad. Educated people are sometimes the stupidest people to roam the earth.

Parents are the solution and unfortunately they are also part of the problem. A large portion of parents are not involved in their local schools as many were in the past. Very few regularly attend school board meetings to voice their concerns with other parents. Thus the children are being subjected to unilateral policies of the school board and administration bureaucrats. Public school teachers are a protected species through the power of the Teacher's Union and they know there is little anyone can do to them.

Simply compare the public school sector to the private schools and the differences are obvious. You don't hear stories like this occurring in private schools for the parents are highly involved and frankly, their money speaks volumes to the administration.

Great ideas, a shame our schools are so myopic.

But remember American schools did not used to be like this. They are now because of a war upon Christianity and Christmas. The reasons for this are due to Liberal influence. Christmas and the birth of Christ are celebrated all over the world but in America that celebration seems to be a bad thing for some.

It won't.

The fact is that there has been a war on Christianity for a while now. The religion of "no-God" is a rabid one, not content to just let everyone worship the way they please, they won't stop until everyone bows down to the god of their religion (secular humanism)

There is no war on Christianity. No one cares how you worship as long as you show the same consideration to those of other faith, or no faith. The fact is, Christianity has been waging war on non-Christians for centuries.

So there!

Do you think that being fired will teach her anything? She can move to California. There are plenty of liberal i***ts there to take her in and support her way of thinking.

Candies are banned in schools here, because it's pure sugar...

But this has nothing to do with the sugar content. It has to do with limiting and downplaying Christianity in America.

Stupidity remains in the hands of the uneducated far more.
