My Nikkor 18-140 stays on my D5600 at least 95% of the time. I find it to be a great lens. Of course I'm not making my living with it. Just having fun.

20mm Lumix f/1.7 ll which is 40mm on my Olympus OMD em10ll micro four thirds camera. Light; tack sharp; unobtrusive; very versatile as street lens, scenic lens; fairy close up(not macro) lens; and awesome low light lens. Traded all my old heavy clunky Nikon system which was great but heavy on Olympus and Lumix equipment because I hike frequently and got tired of lugging all that gear. I can crop photos from it on Lightroom without noticeable loss of quality.
I'm a big fan of Primes on Full Frame cameras -----
For Canon's --- Either the 35mm 1.4L and or the 24mm 1.4II L closely followed by the 135mm 2.0L
Three very old friends that have never let me down!!!
Since I do both wide and mild tele shots (at the same location), my Sigma 18-300
No favorites really. I just choose the right tool for the job. For aimless journeys, I may choose my old Oly Stylus film camera with fixed 35/2.8 lens. No lens choice on that one, but good results nonetheless.

My favorite lens is my Nikkor 24-120.
Same here; it's always on my F6 !!!!!
It's the 12-100 (24-200 FF) on my Olympus EM-1 Mk2. I use it for over 95% of my shots on a trip.
24-120 Nikkor on my D850 (once I found an acceptable example). Tried 5 before I found one that was EXCELLENT! QC varies on all optical lenses.
Before I went off the deep-end with the D800 series, the 28-300 was my favorite on my D700. Again, went thru several before finding the “Goldilocks” example! :)
Favorite Zoom is Pentax DFA 24-70mm/2.8 Favorite Prime for FF or cropped Pentax FA77mm/1.8 or Pentax DFA 100mm/2.8 Macro

Just bought my GF that very lens for that very camera. It is an outstanding lens and though I shoot Canon I've made sure both the Nikon shooters in my life own one.
Canon full frame - Canon EF 40mm -- it is very light and small, but is very good (sharp, etc.).
35mm film (Olympus OM) - Olympus 35mm shift - relatively small but extremely useful.

Back in the day although I had a stack of lenses all primes except for two zooms later on. I found my self with my 24mm f1.4 Canon FD aspherical on the camera and 85mm f1.8 in my pocket. Used my feet for zooming. Now even though I still have all my Canon FD lenses and still use them on a Sony a7, I mainly use OMD EM1mk2s and alternate between 12 - 24mm f2.8 pro and the 40-150mm f2.8 pro with the 1.4x. It seems the latter spends more time on the camera. I do like primes though, I have four of the voigtlanders, the f0.95 the 42.5mm is really good low light candids. Primes instil discipline I find. Can't say I'd be happy giving up any of my lenses. Carriing so many keeps me fit. :-)

Definitely the 24-70 on my full frame DSLR. Prior to that, it was the 17-55 on my crop frame camera. Both good mid-range zooms.
Ditto - 24-70 f/4L on my 5DIV
I enjoy my Canon zoom 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 II made in Japan with micro -- discontinued and getting harder to find. -- used on my Canon T1i/500D. Others come very close to being my #1! I really love them all, but for a walk in the country or city I'd find something to shoot with any of my wives-uhh, lenses.
