Never heard of that app, but am checking it out for possibly putting it on my wish list. What I've seen initially, it looks promising.
Look in eBay for " vintage Ising tripod ". They actually stand up 46 to 56 inches but collapse into a 12 inch long package where they can be the best little table top tripods you have ever seen. Priced anywhere from under $10 to over a ridiculous $50 but about $25 delivered on average. (Made in Germany long ago)
